A Story
As a child, I watched a production on my neighborhood for a short film. It was a small team with a single tattered shoestring budget for something I likely will never see. A crewmember showed me a shot from their film through his beaten camera: a woman in a red dress clad in the shadows of her contours as she lay slowly dying in a dark room under a cold solemn light. She was supposed to be dying in that scene, yet I still chase the overwhelming life from that single shot that opened my eyes to the world of visual storytelling in everything I write, I shoot, and stitch together.
